Ian Nugent, LFD’s Senior Pipeline Engineer, received kudos in today’s edition of client QGC’s internal newsletter, The Energy, for his work in developing and implementing a new pneumatic testing system for the Bellevue Gathering Network.
Capable of testing several sections of the network from one location, Ian’s test pack will dramatically improve productivity and reduce safety risks, shortening the schedule time for the testing programme. QGC’s field engineering were pleased with how LFD took on advice regarding testing requirement, and are planning to extend the new system as the testing progresses in the full LNG gathering system.
